The Grandparents Meet-up Group (monthly)
GOAL: To give Grandparents a safe gathering in which to express their grief for their personal and family loss.
METHOD: Monthly meetings at our Longmont, Colorado office provide community and professional support for those Grandparents that have suffered a pregnancy/infant loss. These meetings are facilitated by trained facilitators and psychotherapists Marika Baris,Executive Director of My Baby Angel Foundation and her husband Frederic Wiedemann, PhD.
RESULT: Grandparents have a safe place to process and integrate their loss, allowing them to be of more support to their children suffering the direct loss.
